7 Years.

Yesterday when I got to work, I noticed it was 5-5-2011. 5-5. Hmm. I had a feeling it's one significant date but I just CANT recall whose birthday is it. Mum's on 6-6. Not her. None of my close friend I know is 5-5 (I'm pretty darn sure coz I even logged in to FB and check wtf). Then I brushed it off. Must have mistaken something.

Until Kevin msged me and say HAPPY ANNIVERSARY.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Our 7th year in Intel (I mean if I didn't quit).

5-5-2004. I'm that nerdy kiddo who wore a black G2000 formal shirt and jeans and nike sports shoes and showed up in PG9 for orientation.

And on that very same day. I met Kevin. He was wearing black shirt too if I remember correctly.

He wasn't even sitting next to me. Or standing next to me. Or whatever. He's just that kid that came over to me and warned me about the guy sitting next to me. HAHA. so much for 1st impression? Back stabbing another guy? (But it doesn't take me more than 5 days to even acknowledge that warning and agree with him. Equally evil wtf). And OMG the truth or dare game barely 1 month knowing him. He totally gave me all the truth while I lied to most (if not all) the questions HAHAHA.

Sigh. 7 years is a long long time. We've been so much throughout these 7 years mainly about me giving him a hard time and do my work for me and spank his ass when he walk by wtf. Some days when I go to work I wish he's still a few cubes away so I can just drop my bag in the cube and sit in his cube for the whole day doing nothing and talking crap and gossiping about ppl.

Yesterday my PC finally died. It couldn't power on it and I tried this and that. At that time, I really wish Kevin is here so I can force him to come to my place and fix my PC and once he fixed it then I'll force him to buy me dinner.

Yah. I know. I'm evil. But thats just how things have been the past 7 years =D

I could have easily written a 5000000 words on US but unfortunately my PC died and I cant blog from my phone and office PC caps the surfing at 5 minutes.

But one thing for sure, he's one hell of a friend I never regret having.

DA CNY Dinner 2010

Feb 2008 DA Dinner in Mun Heong Lau, BJ (already bancrupt).

Feb 2009 DA Lunch in Golden Bay, Sunway Tunas. No pictures because it's just lunch. Everyone go and eat and had to go back office and work sigh.

Feb 2010 TODAY DA Dinner in Hai Nan, Tanjung Marina. No pictures yet because only 1 is taken with one of my colleague's camera. Food - nothing to hoohaa about. I can't remember a single dish that I would want to try again. None of my colleague who finished dinner has any good words for the restaurant aih. I don't recommend any of you to go there and try lah. But then again, our bosses paid for it so we really appreciate them for that.



I then came home and cleaned the whole place. Swept, mopped, scrubbed the washroom & bathtub, then lighted the scented candle with the air-cond, now my room is so heavenly okay.



Anyone would be so lucky to have me as housemate. Trust me. I clean the house ALL THE TIME because I'm allergic to dust aih if the house is dirty then my skin will start having rashes and will be too itchy. So I'm sort of FORCED to be a hygiene freak.

Next week I'm going home for CNY!!! This time need to shop for some cookies because my mum is too busy these days to do the baking.

Anyone knows any really good cookies from any bakery or home-made that I can buy from? LET ME KNOW PLS! Or if you bake liao very sedap got extra also can give me wahahaha.

Spice Market Rasa Sayang 2009

We had our project celebration last week in Spice Market @ Rasa Sayang Shangrila Batu Feringghi. Quite bored because the last project celebration in 2008 also in Rasa Sayang.

But then people say this round it's better because it's international buffet whereas last year it's Ramadhan buffet.

I had a headache that day but decided to go anyway because its free and I'm cheap like that so must go.


#1 The Ais Kacang corner with maybe 6 types of syrup and 8 bowls of ingredient and maybe 15 bowls of sweet tidbits.


#2 This is don't know what corner. The buffet is divided into separate corners and some are indian food, chinese food, malay food and don't know what food actually i don't know how to differentiate.


#3 This is the bread corner. Obviously. Actually the bun is not nice at all even with butter. You know whats better? Even the bread and butter on the plane tastes better maybe because the rest of the food sucks shit.


#4 The roasted chicken corner haha see? how to differentiate this is what corner? Malay Chinese Indian International? wtf.

I ate quite a lot. Like 6 pieces of different type of chicken. Noodle soup (don't know for what because it's so CHEAP yet filling. what a lousy choice). Bread and butter. Bread and soup. Fried noodle. Satay. Ais Kacang. Chocolate fondue with kiwi.

Then I sat with SK Fong my department manager for a while and....he's great. (sorry nothing to comment)


#5 Rasa Sayang pool.


#6 Some beca and lazy chairs all around the hotel area with lots of trees for people to relax on. Should be quite relaxing.


#7 Chin Cheong testing out his Nikon 90 on us but I think quite fail because there's not enough light and he still hasn't grasp the proper skill to take at night. But kira okay already because if it's my camera haha maybe face also cannot see.


#8 Met YYY on the way to the pool and took photo together. Quite clear hor considering that night totally no light at all.

But they're right. This time the buffet is a lot better than the previous time. I feel the food is better and there's more choices. But the guilt that night after eating SO MUCH sigh.

I really hope we can have celebration else where next time. Duh what am I talking about man at this cost cutting rate, I should feel blessed that we're still having celebration at all.
