U.S.A: Seattle - Foster Commencement Ceremony

The whole purpose of the 3 weeks US trip was to attend my sister's MBA graduation ceremony.

After the whole San Francisco, Napa and Monterey (not yet blogged hurhurhur) trips, we flew back to Seattle.


#1 Ticket back to Seattle with Virgin Airways


#2 Waited in the airport after we returned the car to Budget Car Rental.


#3 I am quite impressed with Virgin Airways. The plane is VERY NEW and you actually order your water and everything through the touch screen. Pretty impressive for a domestic flight.


#4 Had dinner at the Thai restaurant after we reached Seattle. I love Thai food in US. Don't know why I think it tasted a lot better than those I found here, plus Thai food in US is quite cheap too. Less than $10 per person and you can get a decent portion of Green Curry chicken with rice.


#5 Let me introduce you to Portage Bay. It's a breakfast/lunch place that serves all Organic food. US is all about organic now and because of the word ORGANIC they actually charge you like 30% more wtf. This place is just opposite my sister's apartment and I went there once and couldn't stop salivating over it.


#6 It's always crowded. ALWAYS. So it's better if you go on weekdays because you probably need to wait at least 15 minutes on weekends if you're lucky.


#7 They serve all kinds of food, not just pancakes, even though that's what I order everytime I go.


#8 I can't taste organic or not organic but DO YOU KNOW HOW GOOD THIS IS OR NOT. I really love pancakes plus in Portage Bay, you can take limitless fruits and berries from the counter with every order of pancakes or french toast. So I always take the blueberries and raspberries and blackberries because they're very expensive in Malaysia and most of the time it's not fresh here.


#9 Candy with her risotto which she claimed is very good. But I don't think I will like it because I don't like wet soggy rice wtf.

After breakfast I went back to the apartment and slept away because I have a headache and I felt like my head's gonna burst. Candy's graduation ceremony is at noon and we're supposed to go earlier to take photos and stuff but I just couldn't wake up sigh. So Candy went first and my dad and mum waited in the room for me to wake up wtf.


#10 It was really really tough to get up and shower. But we were so damn late like maybe just half an hour to the opening of the ceremony so we had to rush rush rush. Plus mum takut already she told me Candy is very unhappy liao haha.


#11 University of Washington MBA Foster Commencement Hall. There was another bigger ceremony for all the degrees but my sister did not attend that and only came for this MBA ceremony. Because there's no point right, so many people from all degrees queueing for 1 minute on stage. What for?


#12 My parents thought it's not a norm for people to buy flowers for the graduates in the US, unlike in Malaysia, coz last time when they went UK for my brother's graduation nobody brought flowers. But then when we reach the hall, almost 50% of the people are holding flowers and gifts and balloons. Then my dad panicked and rushed out everywhere searching for florists but unfortunately all the shops are closed and he came back to the hall sweating like crazy haha.

#15 Quite pathetic. This is the only clearer photo I took because the hall is so dark and she's quite far away and we're quite stupid coz we sat too far away even though there're plenty front seats when we reached wtf.

#17 You know how is it that in Malaysia everytime someone go up and give speech it's so monotonous it bores the audience and everyone wish he'd stop talking so we can proceed with food or something? But then in their commencement ceremony I think most of the speeches are quite interesting and straight to the point and pretty short too plus they're real influential icons too.

#19 All the photos turned out to be quite bad. It was quite dark that evening and I'm only holding a Point n Shoot. So most of the photos are either too dark or too blur sigh.

#28 After the ceremony it's already about 8 something so we went to Cheesecake Factory for the celebration.


#29 My chicken fingers. The portion is so damn big, like usual, I just ate like half then ta pao the rest but then the second day throw away also.

Anyway, I think it makes more sense to graduate in a winter country coz you have to wear the gown for like the entire time and if in Malaysia like last time when I graduate I sweat like a pig like that....duh...a torture. Summore have to keep the gown on for photo taking which takes another 1 hour or so under the hot noon sun. Really a bit like mampus liao that time.

Next up I think I'll blog about Vegas coz we spent like a week there. To be continued!

Back from 11 days in Melbourne.

Hello all
Yes, I'm finally back. And tired to death too.

Things have been so hectic and schedule is packed everyday that I did not even have the chance to sit down and get online to check on emails or facebook, let alone update this blog.

Melbourne is great but I'll blog about that later. Speaking of which, I am not done with the US trip entries eh? And then there's Krabi photos still sitting there now I have Melb photos. I should really speed up because US is already back in June and it's now what...nearly October?

Anyway, I really needed to get some rest because I felt like my head's going to burst and I have a lot of work to attend to tomorrow.

Happy Birthday Love!

It's Step's birthday today and I spent the first 19 hours with him and then he spent the rest of it with his other beloved...........dota. I just got off the plane late evening yesterday so I hadn't had time to really celebrate it with him or do something nice or write something nice here but I just wanted him to know that I really love him a lot.

Okay enough lovey dovey want to sleep liao. Good night everyone! Good night Penang!

Boys Over Flowers

Heard of Boys Over Flowers?

Okay I know the title is a bit lame. But don't get discouraged!



It's Korean version of F4. Storyline almost like the Taiwan Meteor Garden only this is 100 times better coz it's more realistic and the boys are 10000000 times more good looking.

I have a confession. Last time I am obsessed with Taiwan F4. I watched Meteor Garden for over 20 times and still won't get tired with it. I even bought the original DVD okay! Where got people buy original stuff wan. I watched the whole series like less than a week, which means I watched it non stop and only managed to catch like 2 hours of sleep every night.

Do assignment also not so rajin lor.



But that was when I was 19. Me and 7 of my housemates just hide in 1 tiny room and watched and watched and drool over F4. I DON'T KNOW WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH US MAN THAT TIME SERIOUSLY. F4 is not good looking at all! Dao Ming Si okay lah. Zai Zai...lembik lembik. The other 2 Xi Men and another one I cannot even remember name pun. Where got leng zai!!!! The hair long until dont know like what, got do rebonding summore tsk!

This Korean remake is a total opposite.

The songs are SUPER NICE. Korean songs are nice. And it's more realistic (except the part where all the girls scream and follow F4 boys coz the comic is like that mar). This F4 all have their own talent. Not like Taiwan version they don't really have any talent except keeping their long hair straight all the time. And Korean version all of them do really WORK! Unlike Taiwan version portrayed F4 like damn useless only know how to rebond their hair only lah.



Everyone knows Korea is famous for plastic surgery! So ALL the actresses and actors in the Korean F4 is super super good looking esp the girls adoihai SO PRETTY like doll. You remember Taiwan F4 Dao Ming Si's elder sister? Not pretty right? Watch the Korean one. I super like his sister.



I know it's a bit shameless of me to be saying I like Korean boys at this age man seriously. But it's not all about that. It's that I enjoyed watching the love story between Gu Jun Pyo and Jan Di.

Haih how I wish I can have a bf like Gu Jun Pyo. Someone who will never let go of me no matter how hard it is for us to be together, time after time after time after time. No matter what happen, you'll know that he'll always be back for you.

Sigh. This kind of thing only happen in movies. In real life, even if just something small happen then break up already lah. Where got someone like Gu Jun Pyo wan. Everytime Jan Di pushed him away or do hurtful things to him, he will still go back to her..so touching.

I think everyone should watch this Korean remake of Meteor Garden. GO watch!!

Weekend and 我的美丽日记

Weekend was spent shopping a bit since I'm flying off this Saturday to Melbourne and I checked the weather it's about 15'C or so now. So I figured I should arm myself with some cardigans or stuff.



I won't be travelling around much. More like maybe not at all. Step and his family will be busy with the wedding preparation and I don't think they have time to entertain me. I think I'll just end up staying in the room with my beloved laptop and work from Melbourne instead. Which is also why, I don't think I need to find any coverage for my absence since I'll be working!

But then if you guys have been to Melbourne and know of any MUST EAT FOOD or MUST GO PLACES, please drop me an email and let me know where and what I can see there. Much needed information so please thank you.

So far my list only has Max Brenner and Koko Black and Fish & Chips at St Kilda. No more. wtf. Very good research done wtf.

Anyway, I was cleaning the house the other day and found a few boxes of the masks I was selling last time! Remember this? I was selling 我的美丽日记 My Beauty Diary Mask last time. We restocked twice (once is not enough because too many requests) and my relative restocked twice too. Everything is sold out! except these last few boxes which I thought I sold them off already. People seems to love it a lot.



So for these hidden treasures wtf I'm going to give away a few to Step & my mum and then the rest I'll give a super good promotion deal lor. Ribby Birthday

Sometimes I really can't catch up with life.



Can you believe this is 1 whole damn year ago? It felt like it's just yesterday that we went to Sire Museum and I still remember that time got Vsoon's counterpart along but I can't even remember his name already.

And, I really look like crap, don't I? When I look back at the photos only I remember what happened that day and why I cried the ENTIRE DAY until my mata bengkak. Okay lah I don't want to talk about it but it has something to do with the ex bf so nothing can be good about that.

This year we downgraded hurhurhur went for San Yun Kei chu char only and ordered a lot summore like Kevin's wedding.

I think the older we are, the more stingy all of us had become. Just like last time birthday sure go keng chao places like fine dining then spend a fortune. But nowadays I am very reluctant. It's like I'm happy eating hawker and chu char and spend like RM15 but eat a whole cow that kind.

I'm old....We're all old already.

I'm so tired man seriously I haven't worked that hard for like a million years a bit not used to it. I forgot to eat dinner yesterday coz I worked straight until 1am then I tired and I give up then I asked Step to come online so we can webcam hurhurhur

I already kicked off the run so while I wait, let me blog a bit since I'm quite bored now.


#1 Gifts from Melbourne! The boy came back last week and he bought 12 gifts for the 12 missing days hurhurhur. But he a bit tipu wan coz he use his skiing ticket as 1 of the gift wtf can u see at the bottom left there. HOW CAN!


#2 huhuhu greedy me. He bought lots of chips so we kept eating chips only. And he also bought Cleo Au magazine for me got freebies inside also.


#3 See he so mean. HE BOUGHT CROSS EARRINGS FOR ME huhuhuh. Before he give me he still made me promise I'm gonna wear the "thing" that he buy. One of his effort in trying to convert me but failed terribly.


#4 A surprise from him yesterday. Coz it's not even anniversary or my birthday or any date worth remembering. But because I'm giving him a hard time coz I'm stress so I very unhappy so he's trying to make me happy.

I'm going down to KL in 5 hours! Yay Happy Merdeka! Nothing to be happy about it except it's giving me holiday man.
