Whatever.

Did I tell you, oh readers, that I have started exercising since 1.5 months ago religiously everyday? Okay it's only about 15 minutes each day but I haven't been eating as much and plus the extra 15 minutes daily, anyone would agree that I must have lost weight.

I think the same too! Except I don't feel my clothes getting looser or my jeans getting looser or whatever shit like that. So this morning, I braved my poor little soul and went down to the clinic (because as they say clinics have the most accurate weighing machine).

I...

gained a fucking 1.5kg. In that 1.5 months that I have been working out.

Can you tell I'm fucking discouraged? Can you tell, huh?

And does it help that everytime the bf see me he would ask me how many kg i am now and everytime i try to eat, he will take away the food like I'm obese like that??!!!

Aih anyway, I'm just fucking down now lah.

Do more cardio.

it could probably just be muscles?

Sometimes I am like tat too, the more i work out, the heavier I am. So i really think it's muscle mass.

wanna give a try on insanity? a few of us are doing that now.

Jeebs: I'd like to think the same but building muscle mass is not what I want too!

Anon: Probably :(

Candy: But i don't want muscleee and I felt so buff these days.

CoolFire: trust me, i'd like to try them too but i just couldnt put them into my mouth :(

Thian Min: Did it work for you?? Did you lose weight? But that means I'll gain more muscle!

i totally read you!
do you know i did the same thing too, i eat less and then i exercise more than ever? but do u know I gained 2kg after i happily go and gauge my weight but that is all i get after all the hard work!!!????
what happened to us ah?
so i decided to just skip the dinner now and see what happened after a month:(

i think it is normal.. last time i had the same weight gain when i started exercising (monthsss before my wedding.. )

but after a few months the pounds just dropped off!~

so maybe it's true, js muscle mass..

It worked for me, lost 1 kg after 8 days workout. But my goal is not losing weight. But lose fat while maintaining weight. still working on though, I still have 6 weeks in that program.
I don't think building muscle is bad. of course not the type like body builder. Keeping the body tight and lean needs muscle. keeping body metabolism rate high also needs muscle.
A big mistake is to skip meal. That will send our body into energy saving mode and form more fats. eat 5 meals a day but keep the portion small. min the fat in meal, moderate carb and increase protein.

Eat less portion at dinner can help. It helped me :)

And constant exercise. I swim once every week. But getting lazy nowadays because it's cold and rain, so I skip :P

1. Did you use the same weighing scale last time u measured?
- did you check the serial number?
2. How often was that scale recalibrated?
- was it done against some worldwide approved standards?
3. Who did the recalibration?
- was the person qualified?

Just an audit's perspective :)

I think eat small portion for 5 meals is effective.. :D

Jia: I can NEVER skip dinner! Dinner's my favorite meal of the day :( I hope everyone's right about the lean muscle mass contirbuting to the weight gain now.

XiaoWei: A few monthssss...that's tooooo loooooooooooonnngggg

ThianMin: 1 kg in 8 days! That's pretty fast right? You sure that's not just some water lost?
lean muscle mass is good I know. but it makes me look bulky too :(

piklay: my problem is i eat the most during dinner. a lot of riceeeeee. I used to eat 2 bowls of rice but i cut down to 1 bowl already :(

HouTat: haha are u crazy! you work too much!

Cath: you so thin if you say it works i will believe u.
